The H2Oz careers in water project is managed by AWA and it is actively supported by almost 30 organisations in the water industry.

The Australian water sector is one of Australia's most important industries and provides direct benefits to all Australians and the environment.

  • Currently, the water industry employs more than 80,000 people nationally
  • By 2018, there will be at least 25,000 new opportunities available.

Many organisations in the water sector offer traineeships, apprenticeships, graduate programs and cadetships - a great way to gain experience and get paid to learn!
